The Clinton State School Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association is a group of
dedicated parents and staff who are involved in a
variety of activities to raise funds to support the teachers and administration
staff in providing the best experience for our children at Clinton. Some
of the activities include running our tuckshop, uniform shop and various social
and fundraising stalls.
At Clinton State School our
P&C
committee meet once per month, on the third
Tuesday, in the Library.
We invite all parents and
members of the wider Clinton community to come along and share your ideas about
how to make our school better!
As partners in the education process,
parents/caregivers have a right and a responsibility to play an active role in
the education of their children. The P&C enables parents and citizens to
meet together to determine the needs and aspirations of the school community.
P & C meetings provide a forum for parents to
learn about the activities at the school, raise concerns and have input into
the decisions affecting their children.
There are many opportunities for
parents who would like to be involved in the school community. Some of
these include helping at the tuckshop, manning our stalls (Mothers Day, Fathers
Day and Christmas) and our Spring Fair.
To join the Clinton State
School P&C Association please complete a membership form it via the email
address below or drop it in to the school office.
We also encourage you to
like and follow our Facebook page. The Facebook
page is utilised to assist with communication and
networking among parents and carers. It is hoped this forum will provide an
additional method of information dissemination and discussion.
